MPowerU

BuzzBox partnered with MpowerU to launch the “It’s Okay to Talk” campaign, a gentle, relatable mental health movement designed to break the silence around everyday emotional struggles.

MpowerU is a mental health counseling and therapy platform working with women, children, and families across India. Their goal is simple, yet powerful: create safe spaces where healing conversations begin. But online, mental health still carries stigma, especially when it comes to asking for help.

That’s why BuzzBox created “It’s Okay to Talk” — a full-funnel content campaign aimed at making it easier for people to speak up about what they’re going through.

We crafted reels, quote posts, carousels, and conversation-starter stories with a soft, human voice, covering anxiety, emotional exhaustion, parenting overwhelm, teenage pressures, and silent sadness. Each piece of content made space for vulnerability, and encouraged one simple truth: talking is strength, not weakness.

Some content examples included:

  • Reels showing “what a panic attack actually looks like”

  • Carousels explaining “how to talk to your child about emotions”

  • Captions that said things like: “It’s okay to not have the words. Just saying ‘I’m struggling’ is enough.”

The campaign sparked real conversations in the comments, private messages, and even among partner schools and women’s groups. MpowerU received not only a spike in engagement, but more importantly, a rise in trust.

“It’s Okay to Talk” proved that when content feels safe, people speak up.
